 Dreaming Green Consulting provides green home building consultation and services, a variety of environmental education and art programs, and eco-art products.
Erica Konrad has a university degree in environmental studies and has a background in environmental advocacy and education as well as teaching art to children. Erica is an artist, working in oil, plaster and gouache, but is most excited about the sculptural quality of molten beeswax (encaustic). She has combined her two passions, for the environment and art and offers earth art workshops to children. Having designed and helped build her third straw bale eco home, she is equally passionate about leaving a ‘green’ footprint and wants to share, with others, ways to live more environmentally conscious.
Michael Bowick is a master electrician,  instructor at Selkirk College and green home builder with an emphasis on straw bale building. He has extensive experience in the construction industry, knowledge of green products and systems and is an advocate for green home building and education. See Services in EcoBuild section.
Mike and Erica and their two children, Indigo and Saxon, live in their strawbale home in Nelson, British Columbia.
Erica and Mike hope to inspire others and want to share their knowledge and hands-on experience so others may live more simply and more sustainably.
